Call: What problems do you see in the expansion of renewable energies? Share your experiences with us!

How can the expansion of renewable energies be accelerated? What hurdles are there?  The government has launched a so-called national consultation on this, particularly with regard to photovoltaics and wind power. The aim of this consultation is to collect all the elements that can help to further accelerate the development of these renewable energies.

New tariff structure and electricity prices – no transparency and unnecessary uncertainty!

Recent changes to the structure of electricity prices have caused some confusion. The government’s position on the forever chemical TFA is too inconsistent – the pollution must be stopped immediately!

On Wednesday 16 October, the chemical TFA was discussed in the relevant commission of the Chamber of Deputies. This chemical is widespread in Luxembourg’s waters, including in drinking water. This was reason enough for the Mouvement Ecologique to call on MPs to demand a more consistent approach from the government.

Minister Wilmes, stick to your word: Luxembourg continues to provide the highest protection for wolves!

This week, decisive meetings are taking place at the EU level regarding the wolf’s protection status. Some countries want to achieve a reduction of this, i.e. de facto allow the wolf to be shot. So far, Luxembourg has always defended the wolf’s highest protection status – but now, out of the blue and scientifically unfathomable, Luxembourg’s position has begun to falter.
