Mouvement Ecologique is a member of the global alliance ‘Friends of the Earth’. This is characterised by the fact that one organisation per country is a member. These partner organisations regularly provide information about their activities. The reports are often dramatic; in various countries, the commitment is associated with extreme courage, as there is also a threat of persecution.
Nevertheless, one feeling and one conviction dominates: People around the world – despite all the setbacks and adversity – are working for a better planet and, above all, for future generations. This is encouraging, especially in the current times. It is, as the colleagues from America write, more important than ever to be united in our commitment.
In order to offer you, as a member of the Mouvement Ecologique, an insight into this commitment, articles from FoEI groups will be published more regularly in future. Due to current events, we will start with information from America and Spain.
