Can I still fly on vacation with my colleagues? Drive to the supermarket just around the corner by car? And, above all, do I have to become a vegan now? For all those people who are concerned about their future due to the climate and biodiversity crisis, these questions are likely to come up every day. For climate skeptics, they might serve as further motivation to vent their frustrations on social media (preferably anonymously, of course).

The climate crisis, its consequences, and the associated political decisions have become increasingly polarized subjects in recent years. Young climate activists find themselves compelled to stick themselves to airfields while online forums are flooded with hate messages and threats against anyone advocating for climate protection measures.

But did you already know that we can tackle the climate crisis effectively? The author and blogger Jan Hegenberg, also known as ‘der Graslutscher’ (the grass slurper), is certainly convinced of this. In his book ‘Weltuntergang fällt aus’ (‘Apocalypse Canceled’), Hegenberg explains how we can achieve a ‘scientifically sound, vegan climate protection and transportation transition.’

Have you always wanted to know how to prepare yourself for the next discussion with climate skeptics? Join Jan Hegenberg as he reads from his 2022 bestseller and discuss with him the facts and misinformation, opportunities, and challenges of the climate crisis.
