Bring LED into the darkness New overview and tips on illuminants

Since the first ban on conventional incandescent lamps in 2009, the EU has gradually banned other energy-intensive light sources. These are now largely being replaced by LEDs. In order to give consumers an overview of the current range of efficient LED lamps on the market, Oekotopten.lu has completely updated its lamp list and guide.

Consumers can now search for a wider range of different LED luminaire types. In addition, the criteria have been adjusted. In terms of energy efficiency, there are considerable differences depending on the type of luminaire: some have the highest energy efficiency A (e.g. LED lamps in the form of classic light bulbs), others only have the worst energy efficiency G (e.g. replacement for PAR spots). So look for the EU energy efficiency label, which must be on the packaging.
