Mouvement Ecologique has reiterated the concerns it first raised in 2022 regarding the Hesperingen bypass and has sent a letter from its lawyers to Minister Backes urging her to finally address the outstanding issues, now that the €399 million project has been approved by the Government Council.

Yesterday, the European Parliament approved the deregulation of plants produced using so-called ‘new genomic techniques’ (NGT).
