The Repairability Index makes all the difference when choosing a smartphone

In Luxembourg, young people get their first smartphone at an average age of around 12. Starting secondary school is often the occasion for this.

If a new device is needed before the start of the new school or academic year, it is worth considering first whether the existing smartphone is still fit for purpose.

Anyone opting for a new or refurbished smartphone should take into account not only price, performance and features, but also the repairability indicated on the energy label.

New on Oekotopten.lu: In addition to the repair class, the repairability index is now also displayed

Oekotopten.lu features a list of the most repairable smartphones, which, according to the selection criteria, achieve at least repair class C.

As there are numerous models within a single repair class, the list now also specifies the respective repairability index.

This allows for an even more precise comparison of repairability on a scale of 0 to 5 points within the same repair class.
