The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, the Mouvement Ecologique and the Oekozenter Pafendall ASBL have signed a new cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening their shared commitment to environmental protection, sustainable development and biodiversity.

This comprehensive and densely packed activity report vividly demonstrates the wide range of activities carried out by the Mouvement Ecologique.

A recent meeting saw a constructive and stimulating exchange between the Socialist Party’s working group on the ‘socio-ecological’ transition and the Mouvement Ecologique. Topics discussed included the Luxembourg Climate and Social Plan (Plan Climat Social, PSC), support for renovation, and district heating planning.

As is well known, Mouvement Ecologique – following consultation with experts and a legal opinion – submitted a 30-page objection as part of the public consultation process for the environmental impact assessment of the Google project in Bissen.

Mouvement Ecologique supports the STOP CATTENOM campaign, in which a number of other civil society organisations from the Greater Region are also participating.
