Nachdem der Mouvement Ecologique 2024 das europäische Bürgerbegehren #TaxTheRich unterstützt hatte, bekommt diese Initiative 2025 eine neue Dynamik: Der Fokus liegt dabei weiterhin darauf, die “Superreichen”, sprich Personen mit einem Netto-Vermögen von über 100 Millionen €, stärker zu besteuern. Der Mouvement Ecologique beteiligt sich dabei an der gemeinsamen Kampagne von internationalen Organisationen, die sich für eine effektive Besteuerung dieser Vermögen zugunsten der Gesellschaft, der Demokratie und der globalen Gerechtigkeit einsetzen.
