Call for input: What challenges do you see in the expansion of renewable energy? Share your experience with us!

How can the development of renewable energy move forward more quickly? What obstacles exist?
The government has launched a national consultation on this topic, particularly regarding photovoltaic and wind power.
The aim of this consultation is to gather all relevant elements that can help accelerate the expansion of these renewable energies.

The Mouvement Ecologique has already held an initial exchange on this matter with Energy Minister Lex Delles, in the presence of Environment Minister S. Wilmes. Before the meeting, we reached out to our members to share any problems they had encountered. Many members responded, and their input was highly valuable.

As the issue remains open, we would like to make another call for your experiences:

• Did you encounter difficulties when installing a solar system? Whether in terms of consultation, dealing with the municipality, working with a contractor, connection issues, or something else?
• Or during the operation of your solar installation?
• Have you considered installing a heat pump or using geothermal energy but faced obstacles? While this is not the primary focus of the consultation, as Mouvement Ecologique, we would like to include this aspect as well.
• Are you part of a cooperative and see areas for improvement in this sector?

Then share your insights with us! We are gathering all suggestions and experiences to pass them on and to ensure that the voices of those affected are heard in the discussions.
