Oekofest 2023: Activities for children and adults

From 12.30 am: DUO SERVI-OR-KISS

The clownish waiters Ginette and Billy interact and bring a smile to your party’s eyes during the lunch hour and in the afternoon. Gentle, attentive and amusing.


 

02.00 and 05.00 pm: K ZOO ORCHESTRA (canceled)

 

We make and paint funny animal masks and get to know the “kazoo”, a small instrument on which you can quickly play a simple and beautiful melody. instruments we have made ourselves, we make an “animal procession” at the Pafendall Ecological Centre and give a little concert for the visitors. K ZOO Orchestra (with Annick Sinner and Eric Falchero).

Especially for kids from 4-10 years.

03.30 pm: CHILDRENS’ READING (IN LUXEMBOURGISH)

“A little bird and a bat become good friends, a frog wants to dance ballet and a little ghost has no desire to learn how to frighten others. Doesn’t that exist? Yes, there is! Meet “Poli and Maisy”, “Kuakerino” and the ghost “Gubi”. Christiane Kremer reads three extraordinary stories in Luxembourgish that give courage and delight.
For children aged 3 to 8.

07.00 pm: A READING WITH FRANCIS KIRPS (IN GERMAN) at the “Sang a Klang”

 

Francis Kirps, born and raised in Walferdingen/Luxembourg lives and works in Esch/Alzette. In 2000 and 2001 he won second prize in the “Concours Littéraire National”. Since 2004 he has regularly performed readings and also takes part in poetry slams throughout the German-speaking world. He is co-founder (2012) of the first Luxembourg reading stage as well as the Bonn reading stage “Ferkel im Wind” (2014).
Since January 2014, he has regularly published satirical articles in the daily newspaper taz.
Francis Kirps will perform some stimulating, creative texts in a 50-minute reading.
These are characterised by a good portion of humour, profundity and also thoughtfulness and are a pure reading and listening pleasure.
