‘Refurbished’: Electrical appliances almost like new
Electrical appliances do not always have to be bought new – today, more and more people are turning to refurbishing. This means that used appliances are checked, repaired and reconditioned instead of being thrown away. These are either almost new products without their original packaging or slightly used appliances that are sold in top condition. The quality is often still over 80% of a new appliance – at a significantly lower price.
Refurbishing is also becoming increasingly popular in Luxembourg: as a partner business of Oekotopten, HiFi international offers refurbished smartphones and washing machines, for example – and also buys back used appliances under certain conditions.
