Film screening and discussion: The Librarians

CITIM, together with the National Library of Luxembourg, the “Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque”, “CID Fraen an Gender” and oekobib, is pleased to invite you to a special screening of Kim A. Snyder’s documentary The Librarians.

Selected at Sundance and SXSW 2025, the film follows librarians in the U.S. who are on the frontline of democracy as they resist a growing wave of book bans and defend intellectual freedom.

The screening will be followed by a discussion on the role of public libraries in promoting diversity and combating disinformation.
