Our „AKTIOUN DRECKSAK!“

You’d think that the abundance of litter on the roadsides would bother us all. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for all our fellow travellers. Where else do drinks cans, beer bottles, cigarette packets and fast-food wrappers come from? For years, this accumulation of rubbish has been clearly visible on the narrow roads leading out of Moesdorf towards Oberglabach and Merscherberg. The Régionale de Mersch & Environs would like to use a clearly visible sign to raise awareness among road users, so that they do not throw their personal waste out of their car windows. Unfortunately, the Méco-Régionale has not obtained permission from the public authorities for a suitable location. Our action to preserve a clean landscape was finally able to take place thanks to the cooperation of the understanding farmer, whom we thank warmly.
