Round Table with representatives of political parties on the theme:

What position should we take on the issue of growth? What kind of spatial planning policy for the future?

On Thursday 5 October 2023 at 6.30pm in the Cercle Cité auditorium,

Growth” and its repercussions – in economic terms as well as in relation to the number of inhabitants, the impact on housing, land consumption, mobility, biodiversity
and the repercussions on future generations – is one of the most central issues for the development of our country. The question is how to manage this situation.
The aim of the evening is to provide a more detailed insight into the concrete positions of the various political parties on this key challenge. This will also be done in the context of the strategies developed during the
the last legislative period, for example in the areas of national planning, climate protection and the analysis of the financing of the pension system.

Taking part in this round table will be :

• Baum Marc, Déi Lénk
• Fayot Franz, LSAP
• Tom Weidig, ADR
• Hahn Max, DP
• Klein Tommy, Piratepartei
• Kneip Gary, Fokus
• Turmes Claude, Déi Gréng
• Wiseler Claude, CSV.

There will be plenty of time for questions from the floor, and the round table will be followed by a friendly drink. Please register to help us organise the event: meco@oeko.lu.
