2024 EU Overshoot Day: Appeal to EU leaders to prioritise a fair and inclusive green transition in the next political mandate

Today, 3 May 2024, the EU has used up nature’s budget for the entire year. Luxembourg reached this already on February 20th.

Together with over 350 organizations from Europe, we are launching an appeal to the responsible politicians at EU level, especially in the run-up to the EU elections, to lead reforms and actions to address the climate and biodiversity crises as well as to counteract the dramatic consequences of environmental pollution.
