Success of the “Restopolis and Organic Farming” dossier (with video)

How will the supply of organic food in schools develop in the future? What is the role of the different stakeholders? What should the Ministry of Agriculture do? Why is the purchase of organic food so important?

The Mouvement Ecologique has taken a detailed position on these current issues. This reaction was prompted by the fact that various stakeholders – including the Minister of Agriculture – fundamentally questioned the currently strong provisions of Restopolis. As a result, the Mouvement Ecologique prepared a comprehensive dossier, which you can find HERE.

The dossier triggered a wide range of responses: strong support, follow-up questions, but also critical voices from various agricultural circles. The key questions and comments, presented in a clear and structured way, can be found HERE.

More recently, an engaging discussion took place with the Minister of Education, C. Meisch. His key message: he is committed to maintaining the current system and no changes will be made. The Mouvement Ecologique explicitly welcomes this decision. Commitment pays off.
