Report on the move. campaign: “What we carry to the grave”

Download(s)

FFF called for a global climate strike on Friday, 14 November, to coincide with COP30, and move. naturally had to be part of it. But how?

After a productive meeting, we agreed on the appropriate action:

We all agreed that if the world continues as it has been, we might as well organise a funeral – so why not address that? It was clear that we did not want to bury our future, but to achieve that, we had to bury something else.

The idea of two coffins quickly came up – as did how we would symbolically represent the topics. Now it was time to pick up our paintbrushes and saws to ensure that our symbolic action would look good and be easy to understand.

At 2:30 p.m., we met to transport our coffins, signs and other materials to the Chambre. Once everything was set up and the first people had arrived, we were able to hand out our flyers and strike up conversations with people.

Of course, the press was also present. This gave our dedicated Movler the opportunity to explain the symbolic action and why it is so important for us to send a message..

If you would also like to get involved, simply contact us at: move@oeko.lu or just drop by at one of our regular meetings – we look forward to seeing you.
