Clarification: There is no dialogue between Minister S. Wilmes and the Mouvement Ecologique

In a contribution by RTL on 30/11 entitled “The anti-mobbing procedure within the State works, the dialogue with nature conservationists is good”, the following statement by Minister of the Environment Serge Wilmes was also quoted:
“Ech fleegen awer ee ganz konstruktiivt Verhältnis och zum Mouveco. Mir sëtzen eis zesummen, fir kënnen iwwert eenzel Dossieren ze schwätzen, datt do net eng 100-prozenteg Unanimitéit besteet, dat ass eben normal.”

The Mouvement Ecologique would like to clarify the following:
As far as our organisation is concerned, the dialogue is neither good nor bad… it is simply non-existent. It is also not true that individual dossiers are being discussed or that meetings are held. During the two years of the legislative period, only two meetings have taken place (each lasting around one hour), as well as an informal exchange between the President and the Minister a few weeks ago. Following this exchange, the Minister was expected to initiate a formal discussion round, which has not happened for months, despite several follow-ups from the Mouvement Ecologique.
