The Mouvement Ecologique’s 2026 national congress took place on 25 March in front of a good 100 members.

The ‘Mentimeter’ survey at the start of the event, gauging members’ views on the government’s work and the activities of the Mouvement Ecologique, was impressive (see the results in the PDF); President Blanche Weber’s speech was met with prolonged applause, and the activity reports from the Mouvement Ecologique, move., Oekozenter Pafendall and the Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg were extremely impressive!

The accounts were presented in a clear and objective manner, and the auditors and the ‘Fiduciaire’ certified that the work had been carried out to a high standard.

The Board of Directors was then unanimously approved by the congress for the work it had done. The new Board of Directors was also unanimously approved.

In a well-structured and highly informative presentation, Dr Marc Hans, Director of the Water Management Office, then outlined the current state of water management in Luxembourg.

All in all, a very successful congress, which concluded on a positive note with a ‘walking dinner’ featuring delicious dishes provided by the new operators of the Oekosoph.
