For an ambitious European climate and energy vision without fossil fuels

The Mouvement Ecologique supports the demands of CAN Europe regarding the Global Climate and Energy Vision (GCEV) as well as the first international conference for a just phase-out of fossil fuels, which will take place at the end of April in Santa Marta, Colombia.

These positions were conveyed to the responsible ministers – the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Economy and Energy, and the Minister of the Environment – in a joint letter. From the perspective of Mouvement Ecologique, the proposed measures represent an important basis for effectively strengthening Europe’s external climate and energy policy and for placing a stronger focus on social justice.
