In 2025, the Oekofest will once again be a true “festival for everyone”. It will spread across large parts of Pfaffenthal and, in just one day, offer an extremely diverse program.

Take the opportunity to discover the charming Pfaffenthal with its authentic flair and stories, while at the same time enjoying live music, the especially varied family-friendly activities in 2025, and by joining one of the offered guided tours, workshops, or one of the many other activities—such as the stands of the 20 exhibitors and the culinary delights.

And of course: meet friendly people right after the summer holidays and kick off the “rentrée” together.

A visit is definitely worthwhile: come and join us!

Practical information

The Oekofest takes place in the idyllic Pfaffenthal district, from the Oekozenter Pafendall (6, rue Vauban) to Spidolsgaard. This year, the Oekofest is spread across Pfaffenthal, so you can stroll around at your leisure and always find something new to discover. Safety measures are also in place. It is best to come to the festival on foot, by bike, bus or train, as there are very few parking spaces in Pfaffenthal. Further information is available at Mobilteit.lu.

• Bus: Bus AVL No. 23 or No. 26, Vauban stop
• On foot/by bike: If you need parking, use Parking Glacis or Panoramalift Pafendall
• Train/bike: Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg station
• Bike: PC1

OEKOFEST − A „GREEN EVENT“ :

Free entrance:

Admission to all events is free. However, the Oekofest involves considerable costs. We therefore welcome any donations to the Oekofonds foundation marked ‘Oekofest’. Donations are tax deductible.

Parallel to the Oekofest, ProVelo – founded in 1985 as LVI, Lëtzebuerger Vëlos-Initiative – is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the Gëlle Fra. The FestiVëlo offers numerous activities related to cycling: national and international entertainment, various stands: bicycle course, Cycles Comiques Olm, German Bicycle Museum, Vëlofussball, art bikes with coffee and food bikes. It’s well worth a visit.
As a little incentive to visit both festivals, you will receive a stamp card at the stand of the organisers (ProVelo and Mouvement Ecologique). Get a stamp at both and take part in a prize draw for an attractive prize!
